Antares Offices’ COVID-19 Health & Safety Response

See how we are fight agains the spread of COVID-19!

As we navigate a world in which COVID-19 changed so many of the parameters we were used to, we took the time to monitor closely the developments around this matter and built a comprehensive operational plan that prioritizes the health and wellbeing of our members, guests, and employees.

At Antares Offices, we are committed to ensure that each person who enters our doors feels as safe as possible, so can continue working in a healthy work environment. As a result, we are implementing and maintaining the highest hygiene and physical distancing measures recommended by local governments and the World Health Organization (WHO), whilst still offering an environment which fosters connection and collaboration.

In addition, considering all taken measures, we are the first workspace provider in Thailand that has been certified by the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, to fully comply with the guidance and hygiene standards provided by them against the spread of COVID-19.

These includes:

1. TEMPERATURE CHECKING

One of the most important measures we are taking is measuring a person’s body temperature. While this may seem extreme to some, it is the best way to minimize the chance that someone with COVID-19 enters our business center in the first place. Our goal is to build trust and comfort through screening and transparency.

Therefore, prior to entering Antares Offices, all tenants, visitors, and employees can expect one, or both, of the followings:

  • A thermal camera temperature scan at the lobby-level entrance of the RSU Tower building. Our building will be responsible for the administration of lobby-level temperature checks;
  • A touch-free temperature scan at Antares Offices’ reception area.

If someone’s temperature is outside of the healthy range, we will deny them access for the day.

2. COMMUNICATION AND TRANSPARENCY

While we are committed to reducing the risk of exposure and maintaining a
healthy environment, we realize that inherent risks cannot be completely eliminated, and we are relying on a collective effort to maintain a safe place for our members, guests, and employees. That’s why we believe that communication and transparency are of the utmost importance.

We encourage our employees and members:

  • Not to enter our business center if they feel sick or have been recently in contact (less than 14 days) to a COVID-19 positive person;
  • Notify us immediately of any member or guest who has tested positive for COVID-19 and was present in your/our workspace. That person must not return to work for a minimum of 14 days, or until the doctor allows her/him to do so. We ensure that the identity of that person will remain confidential. Should this be the case, Antares Offices will take all necessary steps related to confirmed-case best practices, including deep cleaning, disinfection, and temporary closures.

At this point in time, we are not aware of an immediate and direct threat of contracting COVID-19 through our business center.

3. BEHAVIORAL SIGNAGE

We have taken the principles of physical distancing and adapted them for the workplace to ensure minimal person-to-person contact and prevent spread of infection.

This includes:

  • 6’ floor stickers are placed in high-traffic areas, such as reception areas, to prevent overcrowding and reinforce distancing guidelines;
  • Recommended one-way only traffic flow patterns throughout the office, to limit interaction among members and potentially limit the chances for virus spreading;
  • Markers are placed on meeting room tables to maintain six feet of distance;
  • Additional office separation options, such as plexiglass desk partitions and mobile partitions, are available upon request if a member needs them.

4. CLEANING AND DISINFECTING

The hygiene of our business center has always been a top priority for Antares Offices. Previously, we cleaned our spaces on a daily basis in addition to conducting deep cleans.
Nowadays, we have increased the frequency of cleaning during the day to ensure the health and wellbeing of our members and maintaining a safe work environment.

  • All frequently touched surfaces in the workplace and common areas are routinely cleaned and disinfected, such as television remote controls, door handles, and water faucet handles;
  • All meeting rooms and meeting room equipment are cleaned and sanitized prior to each meeting;
  • All employees have been instructed to wash their hands regularly and routinely clean their individual work areas.

5. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) SUPPLIES

In addition to Antares Offices’ thoroughly disinfection and cleaning measures, we also require all employees, members, guests, contractors, and vendors to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We believe that these safety tools are important to prevent some exposures and build members’ sense of personal safety in the workplace, allowing them to work as they normally would.

At Antares Offices, we provide these PPE resources to anyone who needs to use them:

  • Alcohol-based hand rub (ABHR) sanitizer that contains at least 70% alcohol is readily available at reception, common areas, meeting rooms, and kitchen;
  • Medical-grade face masks are distributed at the reception area, and all employees, members, guests, contractors, and visitors required to wear them at all times.

We’re are in an uncertain time, and the world’s response to the pandemic is changing every day. We will adjust our measures according to the recommendations and guidelines formed by the World Health Organization (WHO), The Thai Government and Ministry of Health.
