In this month member spotlight, let us introduce you Marc Deschamps (left) and Mathias Reindl (right) from HansenBeck™, the global expert and partner for creating positive and sustainable business transformation.
Let’s start with the basics. Who is HansenBeck™ ?
HansenBeck™ is an international people development company headquartered in Germany and present in 29 countries globally. HansenBeck™ training focuses on behavioural change and on boosting the confidence and effectiveness of leadership, sales and teams when communicating and interacting with all internal and external stakeholders.
Using HansenBeck™ Interval Experiential Learning (IEL) proven methodology allows on the job transfer of learnings into practice already right from the beginning. That is the reason why our training is delivered in blocks of one or two days, followed by practice intervals of a few weeks between training days.
HansenBeck™ training is very sustainable, practice-oriented, and fully interactive. It includes learning, understanding, allows discussions, exercises, group work and role plays, specific to the defined objectives. In other words: It is really enjoyable and effective.
Who are HansenBeck™ SEA and Thailand?
Mathias Reindl is a founding partner of HansenBeck™ globally, license holder and RMD of HansenBeck™ Singapore, covering all Southeast Asia. Seasoned in Business Development and Leadership & Learning, he counts on three decades of experience in the private and public sector in over 30 countries.
Marc Deschamps, a former CEO of Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients, is the co-founder of HansenBeck™ Thailand. He is a Senior Consultant, Executive Coach & Certified Training. Marc has more than 40 years’ experience in local, regional, and global business and functional leadership roles with more than 20 years living and working in several countries in Asia.
Can you tell us a little about the history of HansenBeck™? When was it founded, what sparked it, etc.?
HansenBeck™ enables organizations and individuals worldwide looking back at a legacy since 1963.

Who would benefit most from your services?

What was the biggest challenge that you have faced in business and how did you overcome it?
The global pandemic has been a significant challenge to our business for two reasons. Businesses have seen significant business disruption in the early phases of the pandemic.
Being experts ourselves in handling behavioural change, our immediate response was to learn to deliver via and adopt our delivery to utilize new tools like Zoom, Teams, or Webex. We have also adjusted our offer and created what we call the “HansenBeck™ Learning Sprints”, which are topical, short 3-hour and focused online trainings. They address very specific business needs. And the last but not least, we have created new training topics to tackle the new skills and realities the pandemic created (e.g., WFH, resilience, remote team management, online selling)
Let’s talk a little about both of you. What do you enjoy when you are not working?
Mathias enjoys weekends at the beach with his wife and son as well as good dinners, quality drinks and good company. He is an aficionado of Spain and loves Spanish cuisine and lifestyle.
Marc, married for 42 years, with two grown up sons, loves to explore and travel the world in extensive road trips, enjoys nature, masters demanding jungle hikes, all of this together with his wife of course.
What made you choose Antares Offices as your home base for your company?
We are determined to regionalize the HansenBeck™ offer in SEA. After the first company incorporation in Singapore, we now decided that Thailand, where we both live with our families, needs its own and fully committed local legal entity. This will allow hiring, training, and certifying local trainers for local language delivery, which is a strong commitment to Thailand and very important to serve Thai local clients better.
Antares became a superb partner on the path to implement this vision, not only to support HansenBeck™ to register a local office and business address, but also to provide legal services to set up the legal entity itself. The benefits of having “all under one roof” became an obvious advantage, beyond the excellent and efficient professional knowledge and support we enjoyed.
